#ZelleIntel Recruiting During Difficult Times

As I think about how my day to day actions have changed, it’s very humbling that my new normal still allows me to work for an amazing company with great people. Being involved in the recruiting profession, it’s my job to be knowledgeable of hiring trends, unemployment policies, and where the hiring hot spots occur. My nerves acted up a bit when the pandemic started and we started to see projections of unemployment being the same as or higher than the great depression. My nerves got even wore as hiring freezes started going into effect, knowing that there would be more people looking for employment with less options available to them. I swallowed my emotions and told myself it is now time to work harder and smarter.

You spend about one third of your life at work. Of course, this may look a bit different right now, but if you think about it, that is a large part of your life. My job is to help you find a job you love, so that one third doesn’t feel like work. At Zelle, we work with companies who pride themselves in cultivating cultures and experiences within their organizations to make sure their employees are happy, healthy, and engaged. We love working with these companies to help them find the best talent possible.

When I am asked what I enjoy most about recruiting, it is such an easy answer. I love being able to help people find their perfect job so they can continue to make a better life for themselves. Take that feeling times 100 during this pandemic! At Zelle, we have such a passion to help and guide people. I feel grateful to be a part of that guidance.

So, as you work on swallowing your nerves and pushing forward, Zelle is here to make that gulp easier. It is our responsibility to our clients to find them the best possible candidates and our commitment to our candidates to help you make your best first impression.

As a candidate; Zelle can help you make your best first impression by:

  • Ensuring your LinkedIn profile is up to date

  • Helping you update you resume

  • Preparing you for your interview with company & job information

  • Providing guidance on relevant questions to ask

  • Educating you on how to dress for the interview

  • Tips for showcasing your personality

  • Recommendations for following up after the interview is over

If you have lost your job due to the pandemic, are interested in finding a job you love, or need help finding candidates for your companies’ job openings, reach out to Zelle and let us do the work!

Tip for productivity: Get that morning workout in. It can be tough somedays to get out of bed but when I force myself to do it and get my morning workout in, the days feel so much better.
