Most HR professionals have spent the last eight weeks studying, implementing and creating new processes to ensure compliance with the new laws and regulations that have been passed due to Covid-19. Change is hard. It’s not easy for any of us, and if we have the knowledge and skills to help us understand how to move through change as humans, we might work through the process in a more productive way. It is more important now, than it ever has been, to provide employee and manager training, as well as leadership opportunities virtually to ensure we are all still engaging our work force during this unprecedented time.

Our team at Zelle has not slowed down, and we are adapting as fast as we can to provide our training and development content virtually. We are hosting free webinars; we are speaking at conferences through Zoom; we are continuing to host leadership programs and executive coaching online. Our team is doing our very best to deliver excellence to each of you, every single day. As most of us think about transitioning back to the workplace, keep in mind that this will initiate another change for all of us. Whether you have been working from home or in the office, there will be a new normal that we will all have to readjust to. At Zelle, we will be here to help you through it, every step of the way.

What I am thankful for: Family. Curtis and I have recently moved to the country and blended our families. Spending time together with our kids during this time has been wonderful. Country life has been a blessing and has helped me slow down a bit, which for those of you who know me well, this has been hard to do!

My tip for productivity: Set expectations for your work/life balance. I schedule breaks throughout my day to ensure that I am getting up from the computer and staying active.
