#ZelleIntel The Zelle Commitment
I would have never thought that when I started my senior year at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln this past fall, that I would be finishing it and starting my full-time career during a time like this. With so much uncertainty and change to the status-quo, we all must adjust and adapt to be as successful as possible.
After completing an extremely rewarding, and fun internship with Zelle HR Solutions and starting my new role as a Specialist within the company, I’ve definitely had to change some of my habits and routines to accommodate during this time. Not only adjusting to my new role, I now have to accommodate the new idea of working from home and all the changes that come with. It’s been an interesting transition for me and the rest of the Zelle team, as I’m sure it has been for you. One thing that has not changed during all of this is Zelle’s commitment and passion for HR and helping businesses and employees ensure they have everything they need to be as successful as possible.
Here at Zelle we put a lot of value on the foundational pieces of HR that support the rest of the business and all the employees. Although these may not be the most glamorous, we understand the importance of ensuring that your business is not only protected, but that your employees have all the information they need to feel secure in their role. We put a lot of time and research into crafting documents and policies, whether these are employee agreements, job descriptions, onboarding processes or creating handbooks. We understand that without these items in place, a business does not have the chance to reach their full potential and this can lead to employee issues and cultural shifts later down the road.
Although we have much of these topics legally reviewed to ensure that we meet all compliance and state/federal regulations, we put a high degree of importance on personalizing these to your company and specific circumstances. These documents and customization are especially important given the current circumstances. Many companies have had to drastically change how they conduct business and assist their employees on a day to day basis. Zelle is as committed as ever to helping you pivot and adapt to these challenging changes and put in place these foundational pieces that will help your business grow for the future!
What I’m thankful for: I’m extremely thankful for the fact that my loved ones have been safe and healthy through these uncertain times. Although we all are not able to be with each other as often, I feel as if these circumstances have actually brought us all closer together!
Quote I like: “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
Tip for productivity: Establishing a rhythm and routine for the day that you can utilize on a daily basis is extremely important, especially when working from home. I’ve found that by keeping a general structure to my days, I am able to be far more productive and efficient with my work.
